Brathay Lodge, Ambleside, is a traditional English Lake District B & B which was originally built as two semi detached properties around 1890 probably to satisfy the demand for guest, B&B, hotel and Pet Friendly accommodation by the Lake District tourist industry which was then in its infancy.

The property has been totally refurbished in a contemporary style B & B which is fairly unique to the area. The brief to the interior design team was to create an informal atmosphere conducive to unwinding with high class guest accommodation to a high quality hotel / B & B standard.
